Natya Jyothi – “ Where passion meets perfection”

Founded in 1998 by Jyothi Chintalapudi, Natya Jyothi was established with a singular mission: to preserve and promote the classical dance form of
Kuchipudi, while helping the next generation stay connected to their cultural roots.

At Natya Jyothi, we offer high-quality dance training to students of all age groups, following a structured curriculum rooted in the traditional Guru- Shishya Parampara. Our students experience more than just physical movement – they discover a deep connection between mind, body, and soul through the practice of this Divine art form.

Comprehensive Training

In addition to a year-long structured curriculum, students undergo rigorous training through summer camps, where they have the unique opportunity to learn intricate nuances of Kuchipudi from legendary gurus also. This immersive training goes beyond technique to instill life skills, teamwork, leadership, and a sense of social responsibility.

Performance Opportunities
Students regularly perform at:
• Local temples during festive occasions
• Community events hosted by local organizations
• Prestigious national-level stages.

These performances range from solo presentations to large-scale group productions, offering a wide spectrum of stage experience. Major productions
such as Sri Krishna Parijatham, Navarasa Natabhamini, and Kalyana Srinivasam in the past few years, provided students with exposure to drama,
expression, and character portrayal, which are the essential components of Kuchipudi.

25th Anniversary Milestone

In 2023, Natya Jyothi proudly celebrated its 25th anniversary. As part of this milestone, for the first time, students were trained in the Yakshaganam “Usha Parinayam”, offering them a unique cultural and theatrical experience.

Academic and Artistic Excellence

With a Master’s Degree in Kuchipudi, Jyothi Chintalapudi emphasizes both the technical and theoretical aspects of dance, incorporating Natya Shastra into the curriculum. Many students have successfully completed junior and senior certificate exams, earning art credits that strengthen their college applications.

A Wholesome Experience
Learning at Natya Jyothi is not just about dance—it’s a wholesome journey that nurtures the individual artist while building a strong sense of community and culture. Natya Jyothi stepped into 2025 as a Non- profit, with a broader vision and higher mission to encourage, support, and uplift art and artists at large.
